Papa Rich's Famous Lychee Flavoured Shaved Ice and Rose Milk

Hello fellow food punners, Talib here, out to bring you all a wild and exciting review.

A quick stroll through Macquarie Westfield, a pleasant haven out of the scorching sun, leads me to
Papa Rich; a welcoming air-conditioned lounge. My friend pulls me by the arm, begging me to share
a cold treat with her; implying shaved ice. I hesitate, for I have been delighted with the honour of
exquisite shaved ice, fear this wouldn't reach that standard.

We sat and ordered the herbal jelly with lychee and shaved ice, along with the rose milk with
tapioca balls inside. The service took only 4 minutes, which surprised me how they could serve
oddly complicated meals so quickly.

The presentation was up to the standard of the picture on the menu, which I haven't seen in many
restaurants.

*Drumroll for the taste*

The shaved ice was incredible, an absolute treat for the heat. Much better than what I expected.
Especially the little lime wedge on the side gave the Lychee flavour a special kick.

The rose milk, however, was not what I expected, they served the drink with almond milk instead
of dairy milk. This gave the flavour a musky taste, honestly not very complimentary to the rose
flavour. I remember telling my friend it tastes like I'm drinking rose cordial with elephant milk given
that peculiar milky flavour.
