Guzman Y Gomez

Hey Everyone!!

So I've got another hot review for you all. I'm sure we've all heard the ads for Guzman Y Gomez, a new Mexican food chain. Now, I've always gone to Mad Mex for my Mexican fix so I was excited to try a new place and had high expectations.

After trying a burrito, some nachos and a "Latin Lemonade" (pink lemonade, vodka and chambord blended with ice) and I have to say, I was really disappointed. The burrito was overfilled and sloppy and the nachos weren't too impressive compared to my usual Mad Mex standards. My Latin Lemonade" was very good but also very strong. So in terms of alcohol you definitely get a lot for your money.

As for the atmosphere, it was quite loud (both music wise and conversation wise) and pretty cold because everything was open, even with the rain.

In my opinion, if you're after some great Mexican food with a beautiful atmosphere, unfortunately I wouldn't reccomend Guzman Y Gomez. I'd only give it 3/10
